Halibut Tacos and Key Lime Pie were amazing and great service. The reason for the 5 stars though is after my friend and I had paid and the waiter had already closed out his books for the night we asked for a cappuccino. They made it with a smile and it was lovely. Great service, wonderful food....we will be back. Thank you for the cappuccino!

I came here a couple weeks ago with my cousins for one of my cousins 50th birthday. It wasn't the best. The food was not bad, but honestly couldve been better. They had to split us up in to two tables because we were 15 but we reserved a while back so they had already known that. I'm not really a fan of that because I don't see my cousins all the time and wished I was able to converse with the ones not on my table. However, the service was amazing! Can't complain about that. Our waiter was the sweetest!

Let me start by thanking the management and servers here first at Wood & Water. What wonderful human beings to create a nice dining experience. I had a couple details needing tending to with an app I was using in conjunction with the restaurant and they helped me figure it out I wanted to pre-order some appetizers so they would be on the table for my boyfriend when he arrived for his birthday- handled beautifully So... thank you to the team and friendly staff first and foremost for being so awesome Then- we have the food! Mouthwatering and delicious. The yellowtail and watermelon was so good we ordered 2. It's smooth, spicy, slightly sweet combo is fantastic The Kung Pao Brussels with whipped tofu is so satisfying and delicious and interesting too... The New Zealand Seabass is on another level delicious with the sauce they baste it in. Lastly but not least lol the restaurant in of itself feels like a hidden gem but it's up on Ventura Blvd. It has a nice neighborhood vibe. Upscale casual. Nice art. Nice fire place. Nice music. Nice booths. Wood & Water is a very well rounded restaurant on all the levels. Thank you so very much! We will be back as locals and plan to bring out of town guests here too! Cheers

Lovely little unassuming restaurant with creative dishes and bold flavors. The ambiance is quiet, perfect for a romantic dinner or a meal with close friends. The staff was attentive and friendly right from the door. Once seated, the menu is brought to you with an assortment of shareables, appetizers, and majn dishes. They have a good selection of fresh seafood, with both raw and cooked options. The cocktail drinks were also delightful. Some of the standout dishes for me were the yellowtail sashimi. The combination of the yellowtail and watermelon is perfect, as the watermelon was a nice cool and refreshing contrast to the jalapeno. The lobster sliders were also so delicious, loved how crispy the lobster was! Street parking or valet only. Definitely worth checking out!

Four of us went to dinner at Wood & Water. I came here often, pre-Covid, for their happy hour oyster special. We shared several appetizers and entree dishes. All were very good. The prices, however, were high. Service was excellent. Parking, unless you want to pay for valet, may be hard to find.

We we in town to celebrate our daughter's acceptance and campus tour to CSUN. We were in the mood for comfort food with all the rain. We We warmly greeted at the curb by the valet and even more so by the hostess. Our table was cozy as we had our fabulous family dinner. As a party of 5 our drinks,apps and entrees came out flawlessly. We will definitely be back the menu was fresh and the restaurant had the vibe we were looking for. Our meals started with salads, Cauliflower and rolls. Chris our server was knowledgeable and gave wonderful recommendations. My husband has never been a fan of lamb and his first bite was brilliant! My deconstructed beef wellington was so flavorful and was paired with a balanced red wine also recommend by our server. My three young adult children had the hamburger, lobster sliders and my youngest had the Prime rib eye...you go girl!

If you want a great steak and superb alcohol, come to Wood and Water. Located into Sherman Oaks on Ventura Boulevard, Wood and Water offers intimate ambience and delicious food and drink. I had the smoked Manhattan, which was delicious, aromatic, and beautifully presented. My hubby and I shared the duck eggrolls and the 16 ounce bone in New York steak, and we finished every scrap. Time slowed down, and it was a great break from life to sit and be comfortable and have a fun night together.
